Choice Teachers are currently working with a primary school in Camden who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants, Primary Teaching Assistants, and Classroom Support Assistants to join their team from September 2026.
The school currently has four Teaching Assistant vacancies available, including 1 KS1 Teaching Assistant position and 3 KS2 Teaching Assistant positions. These are excellent opportunities for candidates looking to develop their experience within a supportive and inclusive primary school environment.
The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development, and engagement across the curriculum.
About the Role – Teaching Assistant
- Support teaching and learning within KS1 or KS2 classrooms
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to support progress
- Deliver interventions and targeted support where required
- Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development
- Assist teachers with classroom preparation and learning activities
- Help create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with primary-aged children
- Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or similar role
- Be confident supporting pupils across a range of abilities
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be proactive, enthusiastic, and willing to use their initiative
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s education and development
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
