About the Teaching Assistant Role
As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching staff in delivering lessons and help pupils remain engaged with their learning. These roles are available on a fully flexible basis, allowing you to choose work that fits your availability.
You may support students:

Within full classroom environments

In small group learning settings
-
On a one-to-one support basis

Across a range of secondary school subjects
This role is ideal for graduates, career changers, youth workers, teaching assistants, or anyone interested in education support jobs or progressing into a teaching career.
We Are Looking For Flexible Candidates Who:

Can work across different secondary schools in Warrington and surrounding areas

Are confident supporting classroom behaviour and student learning

Can build positive, professional relationships with young people

Have experience working with children or young people (education, youth work, residential care, or similar settings is beneficial)

Are adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting education

Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle

Are willing to travel to a range of local schools as part of flexible supply work
Requirements for Teaching Assistant Jobs:

DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

A-Level qualification or equivalent (desirable)

Experience working with children or young people

Two professional references

Right to work in the UK

Ability to travel to partner schools across Warrington and surrounding areas
