Choice Teachers is working with a high-performing secondary school in North West London to recruit a passionate and skilled Modern Foreign Languages Teacher. The successful candidate will teach Spanish as the main language, with either French or German as a second subject. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and well-resourced MFL department in a school that values languages and international awareness.
About the Role:

Deliver Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)

Teach a second language – either French or German – at KS3 or higher

Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons

Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and implement interventions as needed

Contribute to the development of language resources and schemes of work

Take part in wider school life, including tutor responsibilities and extracurricular activities
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Languages

Ability to teach Spanish to at least KS4 (KS5 an advantage)

Ability to teach either French or German to KS3 or higher

A strong understanding of MFL curriculum and assessment standards

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

A passion for language teaching and promoting cultural awareness
