About the Role – Supply Teaching
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, structured lessons across KS3, KS4, and where applicable, KS5
- Maintain continuity of learning in the absence of permanent staff
- Adapt quickly to new classrooms and student groups
- Choose assignments that fit your schedule and preferences

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking qualified teachers only who:
- Hold a PGCE with QTS or QTLS (essential)
- Have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and teaching practice
- Build positive relationships with students and staff
- Are flexible and adaptable, including for short-notice roles
- Hold a full UK driving licence and can travel locally
We welcome applications from ECTs, experienced teachers, and retired teachers looking for part-time work.
Essential Requirements
- PGCE with QTS or QTLS (mandatory)
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references
- Right to work in the UK
