Role: Part-Time Spanish Teacher
Start Date: September (academic year start)
Contract: Part-time, initially for one term, with potential to become ongoing
Key Stages: Primarily A Level, with some GCSE Spanish

Overview:
We are seeking a part-time Spanish teacher to join a secondary school for the autumn term, with the possibility of the role continuing beyond this. The successful candidate will teach mainly A Level Spanish, alongside some GCSE classes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Spanish lessons at A Level and GCSE
  • Prepare students effectively for external examinations, with a strong focus on A Level attainment
  • Use adaptive teaching strategies to support learners of varying abilities
  • Assess, monitor and report on student progress
  • Maintain positive behaviour management and build strong rapport with students
  • Contribute to departmental planning and resources where appropriate

Requirements:

  • QTS (or working towards) with Spanish specialism
  • Proven experience teaching A Level Spanish (essential)
  • Experience teaching GCSE Spanish (desirable)
  • Strong subject knowledge and fluency in Spanish
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to start in September

Contract Details:

  • Part-time hours (days/hours to be confirmed)
  • Term-time initially, with potential for the role to become ongoing based on need
