Salary: Inner London M1-U3 (£36,745 – £60,092) + TLR available for the right candidate

The school is seeking a dedicated Sociology Teacher to join its dynamic and collaborative Humanities department. The department consistently achieves excellent results and is highly regarded for its contribution to the school’s academic success.
Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Sociology lessons to students in KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development
- Collaborate with the Humanities team to develop innovative teaching strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required
About You:
- UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
- Degree in Sociology or a related subject
- Experience teaching Sociology at secondary school level is preferred, but ECTs are also welcome to apply
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Sociology
- Excellent classroom management skills and an ability to inspire students
- Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to the school’s ethos
