The Role
In this pivotal position, you will play a leading role in designing, implementing, and monitoring high-quality support plans for students with diverse learning needs. You will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure every young person has a safe, predictable, and ambitious environment in which to thrive.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this application, you must possess the following:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.

NASENCO Qualification (National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination) is mandatory for this post (or an equivalent completed mandatory SENDCo qualification).

A proven track record of teaching and coordinating provisions for pupils with a wide range of additional needs.

Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to coach and inspire classroom teachers in adaptive teaching strategies.

Excellent communication skills to manage partnerships with families and local authority stakeholders.
