We are exclusively partnering with a welcoming specialist primary school in the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside to recruit dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants for ongoing full-time roles starting in September.

The Role

• Full-time, ongoing position starting September
• Supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs
• Working closely with teachers to deliver engaging, personalised learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour through therapeutic and restorative approaches
• Supporting pupils both in the classroom and through outdoor learning opportunities

About You

We’re looking for individuals who are:

• Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children
• Calm, resilient and patient, with a nurturing approach
• Confident building positive relationships with pupils who may display challenging behaviour
• Comfortable supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom, including active play, learning walks and forest school activities
• Flexible, proactive and a strong team player
• Previous experience in SEMH, SEND, education, youth work, care or children’s services is desirable but not essential
