Job Title: Science / Physics Teacher
Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire (South East England)
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract
Salary:
£120 – £250 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
About the Role:
Choice Teachers is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science / Physics Teacher to join a thriving school in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and support students in developing strong scientific knowledge while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Science / Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4 (potentially KS5, depending on experience).

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted interventions where necessary.

Adapt teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs, including SEN students.

Maintain accurate student records and contribute to progress reports.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity in Science.

Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to support student achievement.

Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school events as required.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Physics, Science, or a related field.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent.

Previous experience teaching Science / Physics in a school setting.

Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
