Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons in line with the Key Stage 3 and 4 National Curriculum.

Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages scientific enquiry and independent thinking.

Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners and learning styles.

Track and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to support achievement and growth.

Maintain accurate records of student performance, behavior, and attendance.

Encourage student involvement in extracurricular Science activities, such as clubs, competitions, and educational trips.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and leadership to support whole-school development and student success.

Stay current with developments in science education, integrating new technologies and strategies into teaching practice.
Requirements
-
A degree in Science, Education, or a related subject (essential).

PGCE with QTS or QTLS (essential).

Previous experience teaching Science at secondary school level in the UK.

Excellent classroom management and behavior strategies.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching.
