Choice Teachers is working with one of our Herts for Learning partner schools. They are currently seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their successful and supportive department. The school, located in West Herts, prides itself on its popularity and is situated within spacious and leafy grounds.
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons to students
- Plan and prepare lesson materials in accordance with the curriculum
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through various assessment methods
- Provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
- Participate in departmental meetings and school events
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant subject
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level
- Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic, flexible, punctual, and inspirational approach to teaching
- Ability to use initiative and passion to engage students in learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in Science education
- Experience working with diverse student populations
