Company Branding: Choice Teachers is working with a mixed secondary school based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. The school is located near a train station and is easily accessible on the Metropolitan line as well as the Overground. The school caters to children aged 11 to 18 with over 1000 pupils. The school operates a two-year Key Stage 3 and has a large sixth form.

Job Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons to students
• Assess and evaluate student progress
• Provide feedback to students, parents, and staff
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development

Required Qualifications:

Degree, QTS, Overseas Teaching Qualification

Education:

Relevant degree in Science

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Science at secondary school level

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the Science curriculum
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students
• Flexibility and adaptability in teaching approaches

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education

Working Conditions:

Full-time contract position, working in a secondary school setting
