The Role
- Position: Science Teacher (Key Stages 3 & 4)
- Location: Rickmansworth
- Start Date: January 2024
We are searching for an engaging and passionate educator who can inspire students in their science journey, fostering curiosity and a love for learning across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The successful candidate will work in a supportive environment with access to excellent resources and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning for all.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s science program.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A commitment to achieving excellent student outcomes.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
- Strong adaptability and a commitment to student engagement across multiple subjects
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
