Salary: £160 – £228 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Job Description:
Choice Teachers is working with this school to find a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to cover maternity leave and join their committed team. The successful candidate will:

Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum in an engaging and creative manner.

Plan and deliver interactive, play-based lessons to support early development.

Assess and track children’s progress, identifying individual learning needs.

Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and confidence.

Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support learning and well-being.

Encourage early literacy, numeracy, and social skills through structured and free-play activities.

Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development in their first years of education.

Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to provide the best possible support.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in an Early Years setting.

A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
