Job Description
Choice Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable RE Teacher to join a secondary school in Henlow on a temporary basis. This opportunity is perfect for an educator specializing in Religious Education who is passionate about inspiring students and promoting a deeper understanding of diverse beliefs and cultures.
Key Responsibilities
As an RE Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to explore moral, ethical, and cultural issues.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
- Manage the classroom to ensure a supportive and focused learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the broader school community.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, ideally with a specialization in Religious Education.
- Experience teaching RE at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
