Choice Teachers are working with a well established Secondary School in Crewe to recruit an English Teacher to start with them in September to cover maternity leave. There are opportunities for an immediate start to support our schools on the Wirral on a day-to-day basis before this role begins.

The school is looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher who has experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students, utlising the Schemes of Work already in place. This role would suit an individual who is keen to secure a role in an established department, and work as part of a successful teaching team.

The school are open to applications from experienced teachers as well as ECT’s. They are open to applications from Teachers who are looking for a part-time role too. The successful candidate will need to:

• Be an excellent and inspirational class teacher, who demonstrates outstanding classroom practice and who has children at the heart of all they do

• Have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour

• Show commitment to high quality and effective assessment in order to ensure all pupils achieve to their full potential;

• Follow Classroom/Behaviour management in line with school policies and procedures

• Have good organisational and classroom management skills

• Have the drive and determination to make a difference

• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious

Requirements:

• DBS Certificate on the update service

• Teaching qualification (PGCE with QTS / QTLS)

• Two professional references

• Right to work in the UK.
