Summary:
Choice Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated QTS-qualified ICT / Computing Teacher to join our team for temporary cover during the summer term.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stages (please specify KS3/KS4/KS5 as appropriate) and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in ICT and Computing.
Main Duties:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured ICT / Computing lessons in line with the national curriculum covering KS3/ KS4 & KS5
- Plan, prepare and assess students’ work effectively
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Encourage teamwork, confidence, and positive behaviour throughout the school
- Inclusion: Adapt lessons to engage students of all abilities and backgrounds, fostering a culture of teamwork and resilience.
- Mentorship: Act as a positive role model, using sport to build students’ confidence and discipline.
About you:
- MUST hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching ICT and/or Computing at secondary level
- Strong Behaviour Management: The ability to maintain a safe, structured, and high-energy environment
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards work
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
- Passion for working with children and young people
- · Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- · Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement
