Job Title: QTS Computer Science Teacher – Part-Time (4 Days per Week)
Fixed Term: September 2026 – July 2027
Location: South West London
Pay: Pay to Scale
Choice Teachers are delighted to be supporting a fantastic secondary school in South West London with the recruitment of a qualified Computer Science Teacher for a long-term position starting in September 2026 and running until the end of the academic year in July 2027.
This is a part-time role working Monday to Thursday, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to join a supportive school and make a genuine impact throughout the academic year.
This is a full teaching position, and the successful candidate will be expected to undertake all duties associated with a long-term teaching role, including:
- Planning and delivering engaging Computer Science lessons
- Marking and assessment
- Attending parents’ evenings
- Participating in departmental and whole-school meetings
- Monitoring student progress
- Completing reports and other teaching responsibilities as required
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – this is essential
- Have experience teaching Computer Sceince within a secondary school setting
- Be confident delivering lessons across the curriculum
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Be committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress
- Have a positive, professional, and proactive approach
Important Information:
- Start Date: September 2026
- End Date: July 2027 (end of the academic year)
- Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday
- This is a long-term temporary position
- The successful candidate will be paid directly through Choice Teachers and not by the school
- Applicants must be comfortable with and understand this arrangement before applying
- Whilst this is a long-term opportunity, there is no guarantee that the position will become permanent
