Choice Teachers is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Primary Teaching Assistants in the vibrant area of Lambeth, South London. We are collaborating with local primary schools to support them with staffing needs, offering flexible work opportunities, from last-minute bookings to longer-term assignments. There is also potential for permanent roles, depending on performance and school requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for education and a desire to support children’s learning and development, particularly in Key Stage 1 and 2. As a Teacher Assistant, you will be proactive in providing quality support to pupils, contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Flexible and Reliable: Be adaptable to different school environments and ensure regular attendance.

Support Pupils: Provide one-on-one or small group support to help pupils with their learning, both academically and socially.

Classroom Management:Help maintain order in the classroom and promote positive behavior and attitudes towards learning.

Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with the class teacher and other colleagues to track pupil progress and ensure effective learning.

Safe and Supportive Environment: Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging space for pupils to learn, inside and outside the classroom.

Enhanced DBS Check:An up-to-date Enhanced DBS on the update service and full employment checks are required.

Transport Flexibility: The role may require daily travel to various locations within Lambeth, so candidates must be willing and able to commute.
