Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students
• Assess and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Education or relevant field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Experience:

• Proven experience teaching primary school students
• Understanding of the UK primary school curriculum
• Experience in assessment and reporting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching
• Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Punctual and reliable
• Inspirational and able to motivate students
• Initiative to drive educational improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional training or qualifications in specific areas of the curriculum
• Specialist knowledge in a particular subject area

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily during school hours
• May require additional hours for planning, marking, and meetings
• Collaborative work environment with other teachers and school staff
