This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates, support workers, childcare professionals, or anyone passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in an educational setting.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Support children with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and learning needs.
• Work alongside class teachers and SENCOs to support individual learning plans.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Encourage students’ confidence, independence, and social development.
• Support with classroom activities, emotional regulation, and behaviour strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable.
• A caring, patient, and understanding approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
• Experience in education, childcare, youth work, healthcare, or support work is advantageous.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Relevant qualifications such as CACHE, Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning, or SEN experience are desirable but not essential.
