Male PE Teacher – May Start – Bacup & Rawtenstall
Choice Teachers are working with a secondary school in Bacup who are seeking a PE Teacher to join their team from May until 16th July 2026 – Summer
This is a 0.9 timetable, with Wednesday afternoons off, making it an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a slightly reduced timetable while still working in a supportive school environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will:

Teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4
-
Deliver engaging and active lessons that promote fitness, teamwork and healthy lifestyles

Support students in developing both practical skills and confidence in sport
Requirements
-
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
-
Experience teaching PE at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
-
Right to work in the UK
