They are seeking a dedicated and passionate PE Teacher (Male or Female) who shares this commitment to excellence in sports and physical education.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and dynamic PE lessons for students aged 11-18 (KS3-KS5).
Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, promoting teamwork, discipline, and fitness.
Encourage student participation and inspire a love for health, exercise, and competitive sport.
Organise and lead school sports teams, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum.
Ensure health and safety protocols are followed in all physical education activities.
Requirements:
Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Overseas Teaching Qualification (if applicable).
Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
Strong communication skills with a passion for inspiring students.
Ability to differentiate lessons to cater to students of varying abilities.
