The PE Instructor will be responsible for delivering physical education lessons and promoting an active and healthy lifestyle among students. Key duties include:
- Planning and preparing engaging PE lessons that align with the curriculum
- Instructing and demonstrating various sports and physical activities
- Providing individualised instruction to students based on their abilities and needs
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Organising and supervising sports events, tournaments, and competitions
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe and clean sports environment
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education into the overall school programme
- Communicating with parents/guardians regarding student performance and participation in physical education
- Sports coach qualification
A degree or diploma in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience working as a PE Instructor or sports coach is highly desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confidence in instructing and leading physical activities
- Punctuality and reliability in attending classes and events
Additional certifications in specific sports or fitness disciplines are advantageous.
The PE Instructor will primarily work within a school setting, delivering lessons in both indoor and outdoor environments. The role may require occasional involvement in extracurricular sports activities and events outside regular school hours.
