The Salary Banding Explained

This position is paid on the official London Fringe Teacher Pay Scale and will be paid pro-rata to reflect the part-time morning hours:

• Main Pay Range (M1 to M6): £34,398 – £46,839 per annum (full-time equivalent)

• Upper Pay Range (U1 to U3): £48,913 – £52,490 per annum (full-time equivalent)

Your precise point on the scale will be determined based on your teaching experience and progression history.

The Role

We are seeking an inspirational and passionate Nursery Teacher to lead our morning sessions. You will be responsible for creating an exciting, safe, and stimulating learning environment that fosters a love for learning in our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, purposeful morning lessons aligned with the EYFS framework.

• Foster a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued, safe, and motivated.

• Assess, track, and record pupil progress, ensuring early interventions are implemented where necessary.

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider Early Years team.

• Maintain strong, positive relationships with parents and carers.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply).

• Proven experience or a deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development.

• A caring, patient, and energetic approach to teaching.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a dedicated, supportive team.
