About the Role:
Choice Teachers is seeking passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurses for nurseries in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated childcare professionals who are committed to fostering the development of children aged 0-5 years. We are looking for individuals available from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, with a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (certificate required for verification). A driving license is preferred for ease of commuting.
Key Responsibilities for a Nursery Nurse in Aylesbury:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Observe, assess, and monitor children’s developmental progress, maintaining detailed records.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Support children’s personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
- Ensure all practices comply with Ofsted standards and safeguarding policies.
- Promote children’s personal, social, and emotional development in a positive manner.
Requirements for the Role:
- Level 3 Qualification (certificate required for proof).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Passionate about early childhood development and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
- Driving license preferred for commuting flexibility.
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
- Paediatric First Aid qualification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
- Experience supporting children with additional educational needs.
