Job Title: Nursery Assistant – Supply

Job Duties:

• Assist in the daily care of children in the nursery
• Support the nursery team in providing a safe and stimulating environment
• Engage with children in various activities and educational tasks
• Help with meal times, diaper changing, and other basic care tasks
• Assist in maintaining records and documentation related to children’s development

Required Qualifications:

• CACHE L2 or NNEB qualification
• CACHE L3 qualification
• Experience working with children

Education:

Relevant qualifications in childcare and early years education

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role working with young children

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments
• Punctual and reliable
• Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently
• Inspirational and able to motivate children in their learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• First Aid certification
• Additional training in child development

Working Conditions:

The role involves working part-time hours on a contract basis in a nursery setting. The work may require physical activity and standing for extended periods. The candidate must be prepared to engage in various activities and tasks related to childcare.
