Choice Teachers are working with a fabulous Primary School in Leigh to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work in their Reception Class – starting as soon as possible.  This Teaching Assistant role is a temporary full time ongoing position.  You will need to arrive at school by 08:30 and the finish time is 15:15

You will need to be able demonstrate your confidence by being able to nurture and engage with children on a 1:1 basis with varying needs as well as general classroom support fot the class teacher.

You must be self-motivated and have a “can do” attitude.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a committed, adaptable and caring professional, passionate about delivering high quality support and providing an inspirational approach to learning
  • Can demonstrate the creativity, resilience and interpersonal skills to complement our highly effective team
  • Is an effective team player and willing to be fully involved in the life of the school.
  • Having a Paediatric First Aid qualification would be an advantage

The successful candidate must have:

  • DBS Certificate on the update service or we can arrange to process one for you
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • 2 professional references
  • Has qualification passes in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher
