Job Title: Lecturer of Supported Learning
Location: Cambridige
Salary: £27,425 – £40,369
Start Date: November 2024
About the Role:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Lecturer of Supported Learning to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them achieve their learning goals in a supportive and inclusive environment.
It is absolutely vital that any candidates have several or all of the corresponding qualifications and experince menioned in said section, you will not be considered if these are not present.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students with a range of SEN needs.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed.
- Work collaboratively with other staff, support workers, and external professionals to create an effective learning environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovation in SEN teaching.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Further Education (FE) Lecturer qualification.
- Proven experience teaching students with SEN needs.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Ability to provide two years of references.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and inspire students with SEN.
- A passion for inclusive education and supporting the personal development of all learners.
