Choice Teachers is working with a well-established and inclusive specialist setting in North London to recruit a qualified and passionate ICT Teacher to join their secondary phase team from September. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to teach within a provision that caters specifically to deaf students using a sign bilingual approach.
About the Role:

Deliver engaging ICT lessons to small secondary classes in a specialist setting

Teach in a sign bilingual environment that places communication at the heart of learning

Work collaboratively with additional classroom support staff

Plan differentiated, accessible lessons that promote strong outcomes for all learners

Contribute to the wider school ethos and enrichment opportunities
Essential Requirements:
-
QTS and experience teaching in a secondary school setting
-
Experience working with pupils with SEND
-
Minimum of British Sign Language (BSL) Level 3
-
High expectations for pupil progress and inclusive classroom practice

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-
A warm and child-centred approach to learning
Desirable but not essential:
-
Qualification as a Teacher of the Deaf (ToD) – full training can be provided for the right candidate
