Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Full Time

Choice Teachers are working in partnership with a friendly and well-regarded primary school in East London to recruit a Full-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic education professional to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning on a full-time basis.
The Role
As a full-time HLTA, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and targeted interventions
- Provide day-to-day class cover when required
- Support pupils across the primary age range
- Work closely with class teachers and senior leaders
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to pupil progress
- Be a consistent and reliable presence within the school
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A recognised HLTA qualification, or
- Be a Primary ECT (Early Career Teacher)
Candidates should also:
- Have experience working within a UK primary school
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be flexible, proactive, and passionate about education
