Are you an experienced and visionary educator in Health and Social Studies with expertise in Childcare? We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Head of Department to lead our Health and Social Studies department, with a specific focus on childcare.
- Lead, manage, and inspire a team of educators within the Health and Social Studies department, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the latest educational standards and best practices, with a specific focus on childcare.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal development of students.
- Provide guidance and support to staff in the planning, delivery, and assessment of Health and Social Studies, with emphasis on childcare courses.
- Oversee the monitoring and assessment of student progress, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments and school leadership to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Relevant childcare qualifications are required.
