Choice Teachers are working with a Luton based Secondary Academy who are in the process of looking to appoint an MFL teacher. They are ambitious for their students. The school wants to empower their students to achieve the best possible results and to progress to further and higher education institutions and to ultimately secure fulfilling careers. Academic success is important, but they also foster a love for art, music, dance, theatre, sport and culture within each and every student.

Job Duties:

• Teach French and Spanish to secondary school students
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in French and Spanish or related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Education:

Degree in French and Spanish or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Flexible teaching style to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Punctual and reliable
• Inspirational teaching methods
• Initiative to innovate in the classroom
• Passionate about language teaching

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional language qualifications

Working Conditions:

You will be working in a secondary school environment in Luton, Bedfordshire. Full-time hours are expected, with additional responsibilities for extracurricular activities and school events. The school places a strong emphasis on student success and personal development.
