Exam Invigilators – Woolwich & Surrounding Areas
Choice Teachers are seeking reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support schools in Woolwich and surrounding areas during exam periods. We work closely with many schools in the area and are looking to bring in staff who either have previous experience or are open to completing online training to step into the role.
About the Role:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring exams are conducted fairly, efficiently, and in line with examination board regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising students throughout the exam to maintain a controlled and focused environment.

Setting up exam rooms by arranging desks, distributing exam papers, and ensuring the space is ready.

Assisting with student registration and verifying exam attendance.

Ensuring students follow exam rules and addressing any misconduct appropriately.

Responding to queries from students in accordance with exam guidelines.

Collecting, counting, and securing exam papers at the end of each session.

Supporting students with special arrangements, such as those with extra time.
Shift Patterns:
Exam invigilation shifts may include:

Morning shifts

Afternoon shifts
-
Full-day shifts
Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Professional and reliable with excellent communication skills.

Ability to remain calm and authoritative in a quiet exam environment.

Previous invigilation experience is desirable but not essential.

Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

Ability to complete our vetting and compliance process.
