English Teacher (QTS)

Do you have a passion for literature and language? Choice Teachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team and inspire the next generation of readers and writers.

**QTS is mandatory**

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Teach across Key Stages [KS3/KS4/KS5], fostering a love for literature, language, and creative writing.
• Prepare students for GCSE/A-Level exams, providing targeted support and revision strategies.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Encourage students to develop critical thinking and communication skills.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that promote literacy and creativity.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in English or a related subject.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and exam specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

• DBS Certificate on the update service or be able to apply for one
• MUST have a Teaching qualification (PGCE,QTS or QTLS)
