Choice Teachers are currently recruiting for an English Lecturer to work within a college setting based in Hemel Hempstead, with the flexibility to cover across multiple sites where required.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate English specialist who enjoys supporting post-16 learners and delivering engaging lessons that help students develop essential literacy and communication skills.
The Role

Deliver high-quality English lessons within a college environment

Support students to achieve strong outcomes in English and functional skills

Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements

Work collaboratively with departments across multiple college sites
Location

Main base: Hemel Hempstead

Ability to travel and cover across additional local sites is highly desirable (driver preferred)
The Ideal Candidate
-
Qualified teacher or lecturer (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or relevant teaching qualification preferred)

Strong subject knowledge in English

Experience teaching post-16 learners or within further education is beneficial

Confident, organised, and adaptable

Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
