Choice Teachers are working with an outstanding secondary school in Camden to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher for a long-term position commencing in September.
This Design and Technology Teacher role is initially required for the first half of the Autumn Term, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate. The successful Design and Technology Teacher will be teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students and joining a supportive and well-established department.
About the Role
The successful Design and Technology Teacher will:
- Teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging and practical lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute positively to the wider department and school community
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level
- Be confident teaching up to Key Stage 4
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be organised, adaptable and enthusiastic about their subject
- Be committed to raising achievement and inspiring young people
