Salary: Main Pay Scale (M1 – M6): £31,650 – £43,607 (depending on experience)

We are recruiting for a permanent Design Technology Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in the Aylesbury area. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher who is passionate about inspiring students in Design Technology.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Teach a variety of DT disciplines, including product design, resistant materials, graphics, or systems and control

Prepare students for GCSE examinations in Design Technology

Support practical workshops and ensure health and safety standards are met
-
Contribute to the development of the DT curriculum and extracurricular activities
-
Maintain excellent classroom management and foster a positive learning environment
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
-
Experience teaching Design Technology at secondary level, including GCSE
-
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical, creative teaching
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
