Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher

Choice Teachers is working with a high-performing secondary school in Willesden to recruit a qualified and motivated Design and Technology Teacher. This is a full-time position starting in May 2025 and offers a fantastic opportunity to join a creative and supportive department within a well-resourced and inclusive school.
About the Role:

Deliver Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate).

Teach a specialism such as Product Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials, or Food Technology, depending on your background.

Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that promote creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.

Maintain high standards of health and safety in workshop or classroom settings.

Contribute to curriculum development, assessment planning, and departmental improvement initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Have a degree in Design Technology or a relevant subject.

Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and effective classroom management.

Be passionate about developing students’ practical skills and confidence.

Work well as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
