Choice Teachers is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants, and Exam Invigilators for secondary schools across Rochdale, Bury, and Heywood. These positions offer a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a real impact in the classroom.
Available Roles
Cover Supervisors
-
Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of teaching staff.

Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused.

Support learners in maintaining a positive and productive environment.
Teaching Assistants (TAs)
-
Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.

Work with individuals or small groups to provide targeted learning support.

Assist with general classroom tasks and administrative duties.
Exam Invigilators
-
Supervise exams in line with official guidelines.
-
Ensure a calm and controlled environment for students.

Distribute and collect papers and provide assistance with exam protocols.
Free exam invigilator training provided.
What We’re Looking For

A genuine interest in supporting young people in education.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Confidence to manage behaviour (essential for Cover Supervisor roles).

Experience working with children or young people (advantageous but not essential).

A flexible, adaptable approach to working in different school environments.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
