About the Role
A secondary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team on a temporary basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive and dynamic learning environment, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task during teacher absences.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing lessons, managing classroom behavior, and supporting students in their learning activities. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher.

Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work.

Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.

Provide support to students with varying learning needs.

Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.

Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Essential Qualifications & Experience

Experience working with secondary school students.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
