Choice Teachers are working with a successful secondary school in Finsbury to recruit an experienced Business Studies Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.

This Business Studies Teacher role is available from 2nd September until 23rd October 2026, providing full-time cover for the first half of the Autumn Term. The successful Business Studies Teacher will teach Business Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4, alongside Key Stage 3 IT and some Economics lessons where required.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Studies Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term teaching position within a supportive and well-established secondary school.

About the Role

The successful Business Studies Teacher will:

• Teach Business Studies across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver engaging KS3 Information Technology (IT) lessons
• Teach some Economics lessons where required
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Assess, monitor and track student progress
• Differentiate learning to support students of all abilities
• Maintain excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level
• Be confident teaching Business Studies up to KS4
• Have experience teaching KS3 IT and/or Economics (desirable)
• Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be organised, adaptable and passionate about teaching
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
• Be able to provide two satisfactory professional references

Please note: This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
