About the Role
We are currently recruiting for reliable and experienced Kitchen Bank Staff and a School Chef to support a welcoming school in Letchworth. This role offers the opportunity to work in a positive school environment, preparing and serving meals to students and staff.
This is a flexible, temporary role, ideal for candidates looking for good hourly pay and regular work within school hours.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to school menus and dietary needs

Support with food preparation, service, and kitchen cleaning

Ensure hygiene and safety standards are consistently met

Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements

Experience in a similar kitchen or catering role

Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (or willingness to complete one)

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)

Punctual, team-oriented, and able to work independently when required
