Key Responsibilities

As part of the leadership team, your role will include:

  • Developing and maintaining a high-quality learning environment.
  • Leading on teaching and learning strategies across the school.
  • Supporting staff in delivering outstanding teaching.
  • Using data effectively to track progress and drive improvement.
  • Leading on assessment and reporting to ensure student success.
  • Implementing high-quality intervention programmes.
  • Supporting staff development and training initiatives.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of behaviour, learning, and attainment.
  • Setting aspirational targets and acting as a role model for best practices.
  • Managing and developing teaching staff to ensure high morale and effectiveness.
  • Contributing to the recruitment and professional development of staff.

Qualifications & Experience

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
  • Extensive teaching experience with a track record of success.
  • Outstanding classroom practice and a history of raising student achievement.
  • Leadership experience as a Head of Department or SLT member.
  • Experience in improvement planning and implementing strategies to enhance learning.
  • Strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A passion for driving change and improving educational outcomes.
