Choice Teachers are looking to appoint a Food / Design technology Teacher who is available to work in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
This position is offered on a permanent basis in conjunction with your dedicated Consultant.
The Candidate . . .
The successful candidate requires a self-starter who will be able to enrich the success and performance of this fantastic Secondary school. This is a pivotal support role for teachers and students alike.
To apply for this role you should also have a confident and friendly approach and be comfortable working in a wide range of school environments, especially in a support capacity.
The successful Technology teacher will be delivering the KS3/4 curriculum to an attentive and motivated cohort. You must have recent and relevant experience in delivering lessons in a formal education setting.
To apply for this role, you will hold a recognised teaching qualification. You should also have a confident and friendly approach and be comfortable working in a wide range of school environments. Be able to enjoy being a part of a thriving school and its religious education Department.
ECT will also be considered for this position.

– Varied and adaptable teaching methods
– Excellent communication skills
– A passion for Teaching DT teaching
– Brilliant organisational skills
– Excellent verbal and listening skills
-Art and textiles experience
Candidates will preferably have . . .
– Enhanced DBS Certificate, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
– Two professional reference checks
– Experience of Teaching DT design and food tech
– You must have the right to work in the UK
– You must hold QTS or a recognised teaching qualification
– A Bachelor of Education, PGCE or UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
– Enhanced DBS Certificate, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
– Two professional reference checks
