Choice Teachers are looking for Teaching Assistants of all levels to work within mainstream primary schools right across the Wigan Borough. From our office in Leigh, we are supporting primary schools in central Wigan and nearby neighbourhoods as well as the zones that fall under the Wigan Local Authority such as: Leigh; Hindley; Golborne; Lowton; Ashton-In-Makerfield; Atherton; Orrell; Abram
We are looking for people who are resilient, highly energetic, and always maintain an excellent standard of educational support.
The roles we offer include – working as a general supporting member of staff to class teachers from EYFS to upper key stage 2. We also regularly have specific roles in mainstream primary schools offering SEND support for children of all age groups in both a 1:1 capacity and in small groups.
The successful candidate must have;
- DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one (we can help with this)
- Experience working with young learners
- Two professional references
- GCSE in maths & english or equivalent
- Right to work in the UK
- 10 year CV- working or studying
