We’re working with a Primary School in Hackney that are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator who is passionate about nurturing young learners and helping them achieve their full potential. The role is available on a long-term temporary basis, with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the academic year, subject to performance and school requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum, engaging pupils in their learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, valued, and motivated.
- Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback to parents and carers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Foster a love of learning and encourage personal growth in each child.
- Support the pastoral care and well-being of your pupils.
- Maintain a well-organized and effective classroom.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced KS1 Teacher with a proven track record in delivering excellent teaching and learning.
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment procedures.
- Passionate about working with young children and helping them succeed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Able to provide engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of behavior and supporting the school’s ethos.
- Must be able to demonstrate experience as a teacher (not an ECT).
