Choice Teachers are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Camden who are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their SEN department.
This rewarding full-time role involves supporting students with a range of special educational needs – both 1:1 and in-class helping them to access learning and reach their potential in a positive, nurturing environment.

About the Role

Provide 1:1 support for students with special educational needs, helping them engage and progress.

Offer general classroom assistance across the SEN department and wider curriculum areas.

Adapt learning materials under teacher guidance to meet individual student needs.

Build positive, trusting relationships with students to promote confidence and independence.

Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and the SENCO to ensure inclusive learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will

Have experience working with young people or supporting learners with SEN (preferred but not essential).

Be patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping students succeed.

Show adaptability, reliability, and excellent communication skills.

Be confident supporting learning in both 1:1 and group settings.

Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
