Job Title: Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant

Choice Teachers are working with a group of well-regarded secondary schools in the Camden area to recruit full-time Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants for long-term roles starting as soon as possible. These roles offer excellent opportunities to gain experience in education, support young people and become part of a school community.
About the Roles:

Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 (Years 7–11), and potentially sixth form.

Working one-to-one with students with additional needs or in-class support.

Assisting with behaviour, engagement, and differentiation within lessons.

Collaborating with teachers and SEN staff to ensure pupils make progress.

Supporting EHCP targets and maintaining clear records of progress where needed.

Helping with personal development and emotional regulation where required.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Have previous experience working with young people (ideally in a school or education setting).

Be patient, reliable and confident when supporting students of varying needs and abilities.

Have strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Be passionate about education and making a difference in students’ lives.

Be able to commit to a full-time, long-term role.
Desirable (but not essential):
-
Experience supporting students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD or SEMH.

A background in youth work, tutoring, sports coaching or similar.

Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 or a degree.
