Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: East of England, Hertfordshire, St Albans
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £75 – £85 Per day
Job Duties:
- Assisting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities
- Supporting individual students with their learning and development
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
- Providing feedback to teachers on student progress
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
Education:
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Experience supporting students with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid qualification
- Experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary or secondary school
Working Conditions:
- Work hours may vary but expected to be full-time
- Work primarily within a school setting
- May involve supporting students with special educational needs

This role involves working part-time hours in a school setting, collaborating with colleagues and engaging with students and parents on a regular basis.
